I apologize for not having time for the club for the last month. I'll be catching up on your submissions in a day or so. I don't have the energy to go through them at this late hour. I'll just update the memberlist tonight.

This is something very serious. I thought I'd share it with all of you cause I know some of you are as much as animal lovers as I am.
Please, if you have friends who have pets, please warn them of this!

Ok, the day before, my mom put this product on my cat. It's called Hartz flea and tick drops. Well that night, my cat was wobbling as he walked and his pupils were huge! We thought he was on catnip... but then he started making a weezing noise.
The next day, my cat went off and hid in the backyard for about 4 hours! Mom was worried and when I came home from college, we found him hidden in a tarp in the backyard.

Mom called the vet as we brought him inside. We did some web research and found out that this wasn't the first time that this has happened..
As I searched, I have discovered that animals that have used Hartz products before have DIED. Hartz actually has a bunch of lawsuits cause they've been known to kill cats and dogs. I came across a woman's website that she had dedicated to her loving dog who died because of that product.

The vet told us to bring him in right away, and so we did. Thank God, mom washed the stuff off the cat that very morning and the vets said "That's the best thing you could of done for him."
And my cat was able to come home that very day.

Now, my 4 year old cat Nefee, is sleeping, but he's fine and much better. He's still eating and drinking, so we see signs of hope. On the way to the vets, I felt like crying cause I thought there was a chance he was going to die.
